Early Bird Tickets for the Eighth Sea Star Sold Out in Less Than 20 Hours!

The first batch of tickets for the eighth edition of the Sea Star Festival has been snapped up in record time! Early bird tickets went on sale yesterday and sold out in under 20 hours. Fans from 21 countries, from Europe to North America, have already confirmed their trip to Umag. In addition to Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy, the strongest interest is coming from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Hungary, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, while tickets were also purchased in the USA and Canada. This fantastic sales kick-off follows the announcement of the festival’s first wave of artists, promising an unforgettable start to summer in the Stella Maris lagoon from 28–31 May 2026.

A new batch of tickets is now available at the price of €49, and can be purchased via the official Sea Star website, at all Entrio sales points, or online through the Entrio system.

More great news has arrived – Sea Star Festival 2025 has been nominated for Best Medium-Sized Festival at the 15th edition of the European Festival Awards. Alongside Sea Star, the list of nominees includes renowned events such as Azkena Rock Festival, Codru Festival, Mystic Festival, Pohoda Festival, Sunny Hill Festival, Greenfield Festival, Dauwpop, and Orange Warsaw Festival. The winners will be announced on 14 January 2026 in Groningen, at the awards ceremony held during Europe’s largest showcase festival, Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS).

The first wave of performers for Sea Star’s eighth edition has been announced, with visitors set to enjoy a performance by the High-Tech Minimal giant and global stage ruler Boris Brejcha. Also revealed is a special multimedia show, Emergency EXIT, created in collaboration between EXIT Festival, Portugal’s Boom Festival, and the renowned European troupe La Fura dels Baus, who are responsible for the artistic concept and direction. Music for the project was specially composed by Satori, with visuals by Eyesberg. Confirmed for the festival’s Main Stage are New York electronic star Layla Benitez and rising electro talent Lanna. The first regional names set to take over the Electric Waves Stage include DJ Labud, Herya, INKA, Kim Ono, Lottie, Marcel, Marin Biočić, and Sunny Sun.

Sea Star Festival will return for its eighth edition to the shores of Umag, in the Stella Maris lagoon, from 28–31 May 2026. As in previous years, the two main festival days will be Friday, 29 May, and Saturday, 30 May, while Thursday and Sunday are reserved for the Welcome Day and After Party. More artists joining the lineup for the first festival of the summer will be announced soon.
