The rulers of the EDM scene and, for years now, the world’s most popular DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, will make their signature spectacle at this year’s Sea Star Festival in the Croatian seaside town Umag. The Belgian duo of Greek origin are officially the best ranked international DJ duo at the most famous DJ Mag Top 100 list in the past years. Only a few years ago they were declared the best in the world and with following four vice-champion ranks to folow in the past 5 years, they are well above the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Calvin Harris, Avicci, and many others. The cult status brought them residency at the most famous electronic music festival, Tomorrowland in Belgium, where their performances are treated as the audio-visual climax of the festival. They also broke the German record for the biggest electronic solo performance, watched by 45 thousand thrilled visitors, and the speed at which they sold tickets in their country, Belgium (60 thousand tickets sold in three days) broke the records previously set by U2 and Madonna! What suggests that tickets for Sea Star will be hard to find as well is the fact that, right before their performance at Exit 2016, the full capacity of was reached!

Their biggest hits include “Tremor”, “The Hum”, “Complicated”, as well as “Melody”, which became the official anthem of the Belgian football team in 2016. Dimitri and Mike are famous for collaborations with the biggest international stars such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Afrojack and Diplo, and, apart from the songs they authored, they are known for great remixes in collaboration with such giants as The Weeknd, Major Lazer, Calvin Harris and many others. Aside from them, they collaborated with the favorites of the current international production. With a remix of the famous movie theme “He’s A Pirate” by Hans Zimmer they participated in the soundtrack of the latest sequel to the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean.

Brothers Dimitri and Michael Thivaos started their DJ careers when they were just teenagers, and as a duo they have ruled top lists and big stages since 2006. Their career was launched in 2009 by their first remix “Work That Body” which was noticed by the great Axwell, who gave them a push on their upward trajectory. In the years that followed they took over big stages worldwide, including the prestigious Tomorrowland, where they have earned the resident status with their performances since 2010. Ever since they obtained the title, they have been in charge of writing the festival’s anthem, and they’ve also become owners of their own Tomorrowland comic strip, which is written by Paul Jankins, the famous author of Spiderman.

Sea Star will host the secretive Belgian DJ MATTN whose career is rising incredibly fast in the last few years and she has recently married Dimitri Vegas. Her particular combination of underground and mainstream makes her a perfect performer at various events, from Creamfields UK, Sunburn and many other festivals, to exclusive halls, such as the VIP Room in St Tropez and White in Dubai. This electronic family will join the already confirmed “sea-stars” in the Umag Stella Maris complex, from May 24 to 27. One of the best concert bands of today, Hurts, the great hitmaker Robin Schulz, London trio Disciples and the French duo Ofenbach are foreign names joined by old-school rap icons Tram 11, Balkan hip-hop “godfather” Edo Maajka with the band, regional hip-hop “mama” Sajsi MC, everyone’s favorites, Dječaci of Dalmatia, as well as the fiery Krešo Bengalka of Split.
